Geezerglide Piles on the SEEG Bandwagon
« on: November 26, 2007, 07:31:49 PM »

Well, count another member into the SEEG family.

Many of you may have seen Leo sold his pseudo SE Glide and he has now picked up a 2004 SEEG in blue.

It was a bike that appeared on eBay last month and evidently was at a Denver dealer if I have the facts right.

I know it has a Baker 6 speed and has had some engine upgrades as well, gear drive cam etc.

Hopefully Leo can fill in the blanks when I get the pics up for him.

Roger,

Thanks for your help in getting the pictures on the site.

Picking up the bike this weekend, the dealer in Denver is the Bourget Dealer, one of his friends owned the bike.

Besides the Baker 6 Speed it has a whole bunch of Dave Mackie Engine Mods, Heads, Cams (yet ot find out which ones) etc. Will advise once I know the rest, also, has Hooker Headers Tuned Flow Exhaust, not familiar with these either.

Bike has only 3,400 mile on it.

First thing to go will be the Whitewall, and the fog lights, maybe will to get a set of lower fairings.

The only thing it s getting cold and snowing in Calgary, when I get back will have to wait for a Chinook.

Congrats on the new SEEG, geezerglide!

geezerglide

Great bike Geezer!

As far as getting rid of the whitewalls,  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I know of a guy close to Charlotte that put wide whitewalls on his 05 cherry SEEG. CAN I SAY UGLY!

Let us know what motor mods you got!

Lowers likely taken off to install the fog lights.  If you're starting from scratch look for some 05 or newer bodies on eBay to gain the venting.  They can often be had pretty cheaply.  Then just paint to match.

Can't tell from the pictures.  At least not for sure.  But I don't see any wiring coming out of the fog lights.  If the harness really is hidden someone will have drilled the crash bar to run the wiring inside.  I always did that whenever I put those lights on something.  Makes for an ugly spot if you take the lights back off though.

Blue and Black SEEG.......the best CVO money can buy! :2vrolijk_21:

I saw the photos and was happy to read down the thread that you're going to remove the WWW.  Those things are hideous.  But that bike is pure art......you'll definately enjoy it.

By the way, if the original owner is a friend of the guy that owns the shop where you bought it, you'll probably be able to get the leg fairings......if he still has them.

JCZ,

Thanks a lot, Mike told me the owner was a a friend of his, a guy named Izzy Salazar, guess he's quite the self made man.

I forgot to ask Mike in regards to the lowers, he is back tommorrow, I'll ask then.
