It's in Ogden, with it's SE Cover in the right saddle bag ::)

Actually Roger,
The S/E cover bag is in the right saddlebag!

Here's the email from Tbone after dropping it off at Traxxion:

Rog,

I got the bike over to Traxxion this afternoon and left it with Dan.  It might be a good idea to give him a ring tomorrow to touch base.  The keys, etc are in the tourpak and the cover is in the right saddle bag.

Talk to you soon,

Bob

But did Bob look inside the cover bag or just assume the cover was in it?

WELL?

They were giving away CR velvet bags at COSTCO the other day. I looked at the young lady, and said  " I've got enough of those kicking around the house I should be the one giving them away "  " How about you give away what comes in the bag instead ? "    :D

I only have a couple (my Dad likes Crown) but those bags make the most fantastic dusting cloths.  Whatever the beverage of choice is in the parking lot at Sedona, that will be the one I hope to cheers everyone with after I get off my motorcycle from riding with you great folks.

I made no assumptions here, you know what they say about them.  ;)

I just took the word from a very reliable member here that the cover was in the bag.  ;D

You know Ilene well enough to not expect an answer from her here.  ;)

I'm sure she'll give you an earful while we're at CHL.  ;D

OK gang, it's a good news/bad news day in the Great Northwest.

First the good news is the Nanner will be here tomorrow...............the bad news is the dispatcher for HogHaulers (Debbie) called in a panic today and spoke to my GM.

It seems that when they got to the base in Portland there was a truck coming north so they were putting the nanner on that truck.

As I understand it when they undid the tension on one of the tie downs..................snap :nixweiss:

Evidently it took out the side of a saddlebag, leaving a big scratch.  She's devastated (me not so much).

Sure I'm disappointed, but I can't let the mishap spoil th excitement of getting the bike here.

Thank goodness it was a bag and not the tank or something.  So I'll be ordering a bag evidently :(

For now it just matches the SEUC with the Nelson scratch somebody put in it. :bananarock:

Roger-

It's been a long time coming in getting her home to it's new stablemates.  Sorry to hear of the mishap.  At least they are on it and you are taking it well.  Like you stated, could have been worse and should be an easy part to replace .   Looking forwards to some pictures and the ride report.    :bananarock:   Bob

Pics for sure.  Dan from Traxxion is sending pics from it being loaded in GA.

I'll get some here and then some of its maiden voyage as well. :2vrolijk_21: :bananarock:

Just a scratch or gouge?  Nothing busted? And you're not paying for it?  There's real stuff out there to worry about; that doesn't even register.  Have fun with the bike.  Glad you got it home finally.  Put a coat of wax on that replacement bag in six or eight weeks :drink: :2vrolijk_21: .
