I think I may have said that about paying $24k on the 06 SEEG thread with the guy looking for his friend to sell him his yellow SEEG.


I may have had a senior moment since it had been so long since I saw the list, just prior to the bikes arrival on Saturday

Us ol' guys do that sometimes.

I forgot about the SERT and the fact he had it dynoed too.  Dyno tuned and I have the Dyno run sheets proving that this bike produces 94.6 Rear wheel Horsepower and 97.9 Torque

Jeepers, everyone is so particular   (has the brake turn signal conversion and lenses too)

The antenna on the bike is a solid stainless rigid mount 9 inches tall from e-glide goodies. The one on the Tour pack is is a black powder coated 6 inch

I think Roger's Banana is a good example of what a steal a quality used SEEG can be. Go back to the first couple of posts on this thread and print the list of items that the bike came with new, add to that list, all of the things we've pointed out here. Take out an H-D Parts and Accessories Catalogue and put a price beside everything. Make sure you factor in the 103 motor and trick paint. What you end up with is a 2005 Electra-Glide with about $25,000 worth of accessories and upgrades. Basically Roger paid for this stuff and got the bike free     Ok, that's a bit of twisted logic, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that a solid low mileage 04, 05, 06 Screamin Eagle 103 Electra-Glide is one of the best buys out there for a Used Harley-Davidson. 

                     ALSO

The prices folks are paying for 00 and 01 SERGs are a really good buy with the caveat that I am skeptical of this group being happy with the 00, 01 95" locomotive motor as well as a few other things.   BUT, when you stop and think of buying an 00 or 01 SERG for $12,500 -$13,000 and then investing $12k on top of that, you end up with a hell of a motorcycle for $25,000

Two different ways to spend $25,000 and have $40,000 value.

B B, I have a sales opening should you find yourself with a burning desire to move to the dreary northwest.

It really is a good way to get a great bike and in my case I kinda lucked out.

Leo got one hell of a deal on his 2004 with tons of engine mods etc.  The tales abound, but you can't argue with good deals.

Does it have a chrome inner primary ?
                    chrome cylinder base cover?
                    chrome jiffy stand cover?
                    chrome rear master cylinder cover?
                    chrome starter ?
                    Kuryakyn chrome frame covers like MJZ's Elvis, Q's and Grover's bikes ?
                    Dash pad that was standard on the 06 and up SEUC's ?
                    Cobin custom two up seat system with rider and passenger backrests ?

Seriously, right now, if I had the money there is not a single Harley-Davidson model I would rather have than an 05 Banana SEEG. And believe me when I was finally to the point where I could say it was done it would be a sight to behold. You're within $4k of where I'd go with your bike.

Always good to have a goal B B, thanks for setting one for me 

The six SC2000 Condors slowed me down a bit, setting up the Featherlite for the haul to Sedona. 

Travel schedule is to darn tight to ride, Cindy's niece gets married on the 10th in Idaho Falls then we're back to come down your way on the 14th for a convention.  Staying out at Aviara I think.
