No simile or metaphor there!

I liked the poem.

It inspired me:

I live in Florida.

It's warm.

The End.

Yes.

The long winded version goes on & on about the Bug Infested Swampy Jungle, Tourist Fleecing as the main industry, & folks who move here from somewhere else and then complain that's it's not like where they moved from.  Nobody wants to read that though.

Ahhhhhmen.

Don't forget that it is now getting really tough to go out to eat (even though the food is better wherever) cause of the crowds, drive or get a good tee time.

At least we got a whole new bunch of strip malls out of the deal cause lord knows we didn't like 4 wheeling and dove huntin that "vacant, usless" swamp.

Aren't all the snow birds back from the restaurant by 5PM?  Early bird specials start at 3 right?

Some these horsey( Eckquestrian snoots) people in my area ain't old, just loaded with money, arrogance and self entitled...

Some of em go out and make a night out of it....The Qtips will sit there in the restaurant askin fer water and lemon...then add sugar for yankee lemonade, sit there and yak about how better the food is in wherever-the-hell-they-fromville.  When I retire I may move north start complaining about everything and drive slow.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted and I am sure the folks up to Gulf Hammock feel the same way about me.
