it appears as glare on the painted surface - but that is actually the metalflake glistening from the sunlight - oil cooler placemment in the nose really was a great idea from HD - the fairing sliding louvers make no noise from the opening or closure of them - there are little portholes in them which make no wind noise also - expected some rattling but too new to have broken in with usage - trunk pac hinges are too loose for my taste and get that wobble from them - come on HD - with this $ for bike invest in better hinges along with cheap as- light in the trunk pac - get a sound file here and will tape ya all sound

Shovelhead, there is not need to remove it, unless you just don't want to share. We don't mind looking at other's bikes.  Not one bit.  I am very impressed with the look of the yellow SEEG from behind the fairing.  Wow, that is a lot of color.  And you said the red lights for night riding. I rode home in the night a week ago for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised how nice the red lights illuminate that part of my fairing. I don't usually "see" the fairing while riding, but the red glow on the red inner fairing looked real nice. What does the yellow look like in the dark?  Absolutely gorgeous and luscious looking.  Great!!!!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Shovel,

Welcome & congrats!  Those of us waiting are yellow with envy.  Thanks for posting so many pics.  I have one comment on the placement of the oil cooler down in the front. Last year, my cousin (B&B SEEG) & I were returning from the Utah HOG rally riding through Las Vegas (108 degrees) when I avoided a retread but, my cousin ran right over it. It smashed the cover & dented the cooler, fortunately it didn't mess up the cooling fins or cause it to leak so we were lucky.  I think the oil cooler on the SEEGs could be protected a little better.  Just My .02

Yellowsed & waiting for my banana.

Hi Shovelhead 71...It is so hard to appreciate the beautiful colors in a metalflake paint on a computer monitor, I can't wait to see one in person. You have given several members a real boost just knowing some one has one in their garage.
