Hi Twolanerider, I bought that part, and it is one of those peel and stick ones so I should be able to add it myself, but I thought I would just ask you what trick did you use to ensure that it was straight?   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Yo TwoLane,
This is off topic and really deserves a separate thread but since you take such great pics, could you possibly snap a few of your detachable radio antenna setup and how it attaches to the Tourpak, etc.?

went ahead and installed the new spots http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448767297&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302290051&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302290051&bmUID=1112071795205&bmLocale=en_US

I noticed that the lights aren't really much brighter But the light beam is more spread out, covering the whole road from curb to curb and looking at the front of the bike
the lights seem more brilliant...yall do yourself a favor and upgrade to the new spots..
thnx twolane for the thread                        [smiley=cool3.gif]

I like the looks of them on there too.  Certainly look better with the headlight than the stock spotlights did.  Glad someone else is sharing the wealth  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Gona pick mine up this weekend.

I guess it got lost in the thread but I asked earlier what bulb number was used. Reason being is the bulbs may be available in a silverstar version. I installed a silverstar bulb in my headlight and found it to be much brighter. Silverstar bulbs are made by Sylvania usually available at your local autoparts store and are dot legal.

Thanks Cann,

Dont see a direct replacement for the 881L, I'll try and do some reserch and try and find an upgraded bulb for this. The 880st or 889st might work but not sure at this point. From what I pulled up so far the 881L looks to be possibly a newer gm spec.

today i put the  silverstar lights  in ,  Thanks  to Reo for the help on the bulb #'s  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I used  the 9003st for the main headlight and the  880st for the spots.
the 880st  has a different  plug socket angle  but it still fits  and is somewhat snug but not that bad  in my opinion
