Hey Hobo, maybe you can answer this. I went to my dealer today and he told me that my status had been updated last Friday. It's still in BX status, so how was it updated? There had been no updates since December 10th. At that update, it went from BG to BX. I'm just curious what could be the update without a status change. Anybody else out there that understands Chryslerese?

From my days of waiting on my 300C:

BB - review by fleet department
BD - special equipment processing
BE - edit error
BG - passed edit n/a for schedule
BGL - edit ok parts unavailable
BX - passed edit available for schedule
C - sub firm
D - firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available
D - 1 gateline schedule - scheduled to be built
E - frame
F - paint
G - trim
I - built not ok'd
J - built ok'd
JB - shipped to body vendor
JE - emission check
JS - shipped to storage
KZ - released by plant , invoiced
KZL - released - not shipped
KZM - first rail departure
KZN - first rail arrival
KZO - delayed/recieved
KZOA - plant holds
KZOB - zone/distribution holds
KZOC - carrier delays
KZOD - carrier holds
KZOE - mis-shipped vehicle
KZOF - show/test vehicle
KZOG - damaged vehicle
KZOH - all other reasons
KZT - second rail departure
KZU - second rail arrival
KZX - delivered to dealer
ZA - canceled

As I recall, it's really not until it's in "D" that you have a firm idea of when it will ship.

The Silver we have a deposit on is being built expected delivery May 2008.    There is a gas guzzler tax of 2100 on the car for the state of florida.

Pricing is 37320 (MSRP) + 

Then 890. for Mygig, 950. for sunroof, 2100. gas guzzler and 675. destination.     totaling 41,935.

This is the way I understand it. When you enter an order, it goes into BX status, which is --- good order availible for scheduling. Your order went from BX to BG, which means --- order has passed edit but connot be considered for scheduling. So it looks to me that you kind of had a change in status or an update, basicly, it is saying that your order will not be built for 2008.5 (that sucks). Scooters order has moved from BX to C, which is  ---tentative schedule. I hope your dealer has kind of set you up for this because I don't want to be the bearer of bad news  .
Let us know what happens.

I think Chrysler is doing a fantastic thing for the Victory Junction Gang ~ $525,000 initial buy in is a great fund raiser for Kyle's charity based on Adam his late son.

My issue with that auction is that it is #43 and should be done with Richard Petty not Kyle for one, I also feel it should be titled first in Richards name only so that the history of the car is really done right.   

I think it was Jackson Barrett that bought the #1 Challenger for something like 445,000 dollars.   The release count numbers have been bouncing around considerable.   This is the first time in print on something really public that they show 6400 to be built.    The rumor has it that Inferno most built, then Black then Gray and of course the lone B5 Petty color one.   The numbers are ranging from 5200 - 6400 depending on who you talk to.   

Its going to be an interesting next 120 to 150 days as they begin to release these SRT8 Challengers.

I think the Victory Junction Camp is an amazing place.  I visited it while in the area on business a year or so ago.  Any fund raising project that benefits the camp is a worthwhile effort for the children...

For some reason, the SRT engineers chose this website to answer questions. The guys on the site can ask questions periodically and this time, they could ask questions about the new Challenger. The guys didn't ask a lot of the questions that I have but it's a great deal. Can you imagine how great it would be if the CVO engineers would visit here and answer questions and concerns we have about our bikes ?

 The local Dodge dealership owner's car went to "D" status today. His is black, mine has not moved and probably won't. They're getting real close to being built now.

When I saw your post I checked status on the first one that I have ordered, I hadn't looked in a few days, it also has moved to D status. I'm still guessing it will be mid to late May before mine comes in.
