d00d,

Never seen this header.  Looks like the front cylinder exhaust goes around the back cylinder and then down the left side of the bike & the back cylinder comes down the right side of the bike?

Looks like there would be a lot of heat on the riders right leg.  I would also wonder about the long header run for the front cylinder.  This looks like it would create a considerable difference in back-pressure between the front and back cylinder. :nixweiss:

It's supposed to be a true, equal length TD system. But it's ugly as sin! ;)

Definitely very high on the ugly-meter.  Have to wonder if it's a right leg cooker also.  Not for me.  If I get one for free someone can have it for Christmas.

Had the Bassani version of a true dual and they where very hot on the legs.  Actually blistered the chrome on the heat shield.

They are that, but I was just wondering how they were performance wise since they are what was used on the WFB (World's Fastest Bagger).

Gary, those pipes were not on the bike whenn she made that run. They were installed after that for advertising. I believe they ran a Thunderheader for the speed run.

Aha, close to the bait and switch routine. :nixweiss: Put it on the bike they call the "WFB" making everyone think that was the pipe used to accomplish this record but never say it was on the bike when record was accomplished. Oh well. :-\

Absolutely right Hogasm.  Those pipes were not on the WFB when they made the runs.  I remember reading an article in American Iron, I think, awhile back about the Klock Werks WFB and those pipes derfinitely weren't on the bike.  I talked to the accessory guy at my dealership and he apparently knows someone that put those on their bike.  He didn't say anything about performance, but said that there was way too much heat on the right side.  Just looking at them would confirm that.  I personally think they're butt ugly.
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

the WFB runs were made with custom BURNS 2-1 and reverse megaphone. a high dollar, serious horsepower combo.
