Buell? What's Happened??

I was at two dealers in the last week and neither of them had any new 07 or 08 Buells on the floor. One did have a new 06 Ulysses and that was it. I wanted to see the new Buell Diablo but now I wonder if Buell has crapped out for the dealers. :nixweiss:

Noticed the same thing w/a couple dealers I frequent. Could be a thing of them cutting there cost of inventory down because bike sales are slowing down? Bad enough that H-D sales are slowing down I'm sure Buell sales have to be going tits up.  :nixweiss:

Our dealer quit handling them 2 years ago because of poor sales.

Have they stopped selling them completely or just not stocking them in inventory? I believe the two dealers I'm familiar w/are still selling, just not stocking.

Just checked on the Buell website and at least one of the dealers I was speaking of is still listed as a Buell dealer. I guess the other one is totally out of it. :nixweiss:

They quit selling them here in Nor Cal about two years ago.  But I thought I read some place in the past four or five months that Buell and HD got a divorce and are no longer partnered up?

The local shop here still has them.  Have noticed them in the new shop in Rogers, AR as well.  At least in this part of the country it seems to be a coin toss as to whether you'll Buell's in a Harley shop now.  Harley shops always seemed the wrong venue for the Buell's to me anyway.
