What Fuel Injection Module
« on: December 02, 2007, 03:52:33 PM »

Making plans for some winter mods to my 06 SEFB. Switching pipes to either V&H BR 2-1 or Rinehart Cross Backs 2-2. Then adding a Fuel Module.

Heres the big question, Which brand Module?  Power Commander, SERT, V&H Fuelpak, etc. we all know the choices.

I'm not planning big changes to the motor, at most, beside exhaust and Zippers filter, maybe a 575 Zippers cam.

I guess the Thundermax is the best of everything?

HELP!!!

In my humble opinion, Find a good tuner and use the product he prefers to use. Not all tuners are the same.

Yea, what HB said...the only choices for me would be SERT or PCIIIUSB...both will do a great job in the hands of a good tuner.  T-Max is good too, IF, IF, IF, you get a good base map to start from!!  Just be mindful that Zippers cutomer support leaves something to be desired, should you have problems and have to deal with them on your own.

If you're not tuning the bike yourself go on the recomendations of your tuner. What ever they recommend will be what they are most proficient at.

Maybe, maybe not. :nixweiss:

Don't know how close you are to this place, or another Direct Link tuner, but these folks do a great job.  Direct Link is almost identical in functionality to the SERT, both cut from the same mold, and perhaps even the same software writers.

That is exactly my opinion. Do some local research in your area & find out who is good & what they are good with! I found out the hard way my bike has a SERT & a PCIII. My 'new' tuner is the Power Commander King!

Cheers

Yea, what TCnBhm said. I've got a ZippersThunderMax with AutoTune I'd sell you. Wanna know how I have this left over?

You've peaked my interest. Enlighten me on the difficulties you've had with TMAT.
