Wow, I love the shockwave on the water.  I've got a feeling that wouldn't be a safe place for a boat!

GREAT shots! I love those AMERICAN machines! Have not been able to see the Blue Angels since the went to the F-18, can't wait. Seen the Thunderbirds many times though, living near Edwards AFB and Plant 42 it is like an air show daily, last week I looked up and an F-4 flew over? Haven't seen one of those in a while. On the way to the 2005 Las Vegas Bikefest we had to wait at the Edwards gate for about 45 min. as the F-117 was doing bombing runs, bummer, had to sit there and watch him fly back and fourth.  Wrongway

Outstanding pictures - but the 700 mph estimate seems a little high  ;D 400 is more like it.

We were fortunate enough last year to see the Angels along with the Thunderbirds at the same "free" air show in Atlantic City.
This is a great air show, you can get close to the action and halfway through if you chose you can go up to a rooftop parking deck - even more awesome.

I was at the Army / Navy   Game in Baltimore last Saturday. At the start of the game they had a Fly over of F118's for the Navy and four Blackhawks for the Army. Gives you chills just to see-um........Go Navy :drink:
