Here's a video from the Army/Navy game last Saturday. As some of you know, I'm in the Army. Army got smacked down again ... sigh. But it was still a blast. The game is an incredible spectacle. Everybody ought to go to at least one of those games.

My friend Don Brewster (Toyman) took us. You may remember him as the guy on the flag bike at Maggie Valley.

My parents met us in the parking lot of the stadium for a super tailgate party on Don's RV and my Dad watched all the kids (seven of them) while Don, Michell, My Mom, Kelley and I went to the game.

We had 3 stadium seats and 2 box seats.

The box seats were really special - we took turns going up. Kelley Perdew (USMA '89) was there with his brothers. You may remember him as the guy who won Donald Trump's "Apprentice" show. His site: http://www.kellyperdew.com/

Later in the game Senator John McCain came by, too. He gave a private pep-rally to all of usand some insight into his campaign. That pretty lady with the reindeer on her sweater talking with him is my Mom.

All in all, it was the best Army/Navy game yet (this is my 4th).

Can't wait till next year. Army needs to win one!

Thanks for another great video!  I remember my first and only Army-Navy game.  I am dating myself a bit, but the game featured a Heisman Trophy winning QB named Roger Staubach.  Don't remember much about that game other than how impressive it was the see both schools march onto the field before the game and the singing of the school songs afterwards.  It is still the two things I enjoy most when these games are played. Say hello to the rest of the "Rat Pack"!

BTW, at half-time Roger Staubach was there ... to recieve the National Football Foundation's "Gold" award. 

Citation that they read:  "The Gold Medal, the NFF’s highest honor, has been presented to seven U.S. Presidents, four U.S. Generals, three U.S. Admirals, one U.S. Supreme Court Justice, 25 Corporate CEOs and Chairmen, John Wayne and Jackie Robinson. Dawkins and Staubach will become the 51st and 52nd recipients of the award, which has been bestowed since 1958."
