She asked what I was doing and I told her I was just looking at it...

She shook her head and just went back the house.

That sounds A LOT like my house!! Do you get mad if she doesn't greet and polish on the bike??

Actually when we were doing the car show thing every weenend and then long haul trips to large shows, she tried to help clean, but I just pissed her off and she walked away and told me to do it myself.  That was said in a much more polite manner than she used with me.  Something about doing something to myself, I think...

She tried to help on the painting of my new workshop back up in Michigan.  But when I started to suggest possible ways to improve her coverage on the wall, the same "go do something to myself" came out and she left me alone.

I see a pattern here..... Do you think!!!!!!!

So now on the bike we just do our own thing.  I clean, maintain and she drops her butt on the back and off we go.

The second day we had the new bike we got caught in the rain at about 40 degrees and really ucky roads.  I spent all evening re-cleaning the bike.  I still think I spent more time just looking at it, but it's all good.

hahahahaha Hogbreath ALWAYS asks when I'm gonna polish on the bike, apparently I need to go to dictionary.com and print out what "NEVER" means??  :P

It's 50/50 when we are both in the garage at the same time whether he's gonna ask if I wanna see the lift work (oh boy!!! AGAIN??) or if I wanna HEAR one of the girls (*banging my head on the desk*)

But I can BSR with the best of em!!  :huepfenlol2:

I've been given helpfull hints on what I can do to myself after I've given a helpful hint on how a certain task might be performed more effectively/efficiently...not by the present BSR, but certainly by the ex.  Probably why she's an ex.

I will have to give Diva credit though, she will get out there and help clean the bike on occasion, and actually seems to enjoy it.  In my old age, I've learned to keep my mouth shut about "better" ways to do things...well, most of the time.

But I don't think the wimmens will ever totally understand the fascination us boys have with our shiny toys...it's genetic.
