Then he'll be sneaking out to the garage at weird hours of the night, just to take a quick peek to make sure it's not just a dream. 
Not that any of us have ever done that. 
I picked up my new '08 SERK Annie on a Saturday three weeks ago. That night I had it up on the little lift. I'd been out in the garage for about three hours when my wife came out. She asked what I was doing and I told her I was just looking at it...
She shook her head and just went back the house.
One time when I was in the mid process of building my Willys hemi powered coupe, she came out to the workshop and caught me sitting on a box in the coupe with the steering wheel in my hand making vroom vroom noises. She cracked up. On a previous '33 Dodge chopped sedan project, she came out and found my buddy and I reclined in the front seats sawing logs. The stereo in the shop was blasting away and we were just zoned out.
After the Willys was done my wife really like the 654 hp blown hemi making its own vroom vroom noises. The first ride I took her in the car she about blackened my right shoulder from hitting me to slow down and then we had to scrap her off the seat to get her out...
Oh well that ship has sailed and now it's on to the new toy, my '08 SERK. I still have my '55 Nomad gasser project with just 660 hp and a straight axle, talk about possible ride comfort issues, don't go there.
Anyway as of late, the bike riding has gotten me very excited. I've had the '76 FLH restored and going for the past 4 years and comparing it to the SERK the SERK is like riding on air, so to speak.
So I say congrats to all of us new SE bike owners and may we all have many happy miles of joy riding them. I've heard guys here tell about their motor issues, but then in the next sentence say that this is the best bike they ever owned, go figure.
When it gets above 40 degrees and not raining, my butt will be on the new ride burning gas.
