You said they re-tuned to lower the temps? This would leave me to believe that they added fuel in order to lower the temps. I believe an over rich condition can cause decel popping due to the excess unburnt fuel/air mixture.

Mikey,

Just played with this today with the power commander 3 usb.   I talked to some people about this and got mixed answers some say add fuel some say take away fuel ....  In my case adding fuel didnt work.   so in the 0 column  from 1500 rpm down I took away fuel ie -20 to all the column below 1500 and no more popping with the rineharts.   I will now go back and figure out what the right number needs to be, but I was using a crude method to figure out whether I needed to add fuel or take it away.   

try putting it back where it was and remove fuel at the below idle cells. like 0% throttle, and 750 and lower rpm. dont make sense but give it a try. its the only thing they teach at the power commander school besides "NEVER< EVER TOUCH THE TIMING" lol
