Hey
If you change your radio, Biketronics has a mounting kit only which works well. I like Alpine radios and most Clarions. The trick here is that in order to sell to the 18-24 rap wannabees, the radios today are all "tokyo by Night" when they are on. IMHO you need to find the "least offensive plain" display.
Having been in the car audio biz--I drive alot of world class demo vehicles. In 1 Pioneer--I actually shut the whole system down because the radio had dolphins swimming around on it in full colour and was big time distracting!>
I you find any radio with a wireless remote, the companies PAC, and Soundgate have modules that will make the handlebar controls work off any aftermarket radio. This is NOT a job youwant Best Buy to do---find a competent independant car audio shop that doesnt make you feel its run by gang members when you walk in--and you should be fine.
Hope this helps--PEZ
