I've thought about pin stripes for my bike, but have seen pin stripes wear off after a few years.  Is there any way to keep them from wearing off with out shooting a new coat of clear over them?

Have had them last a long time; and not last so long.  Best thing you can do is maintaining a good coat of good wax.

That's a good thought Roger.  A layer of protection over a surface far less robust than the color under the clear.

Nice pinstripping,  have had some on the 04 since shortly after it was new and it has held up great with no clear coat.

Nice choice of pinstriping.

Did you do anything inside the fairing?  That one I bought had some done there as well.

Agree with the tank console, Rog...that piece is begging for something.  I see a little pinstriping in Roger's Nana's future, or some other decorative item.
