Unhooking battery with an alarm system?

Got a new chrome starter and battery tender. Question is before I unhook the battery cables what if anything should I do with the alarm? Just posing the question now so I don't have a what the heck do I do with this alarm that will not shut off later questions. Bike is 08 Dyna. Thanks again.

Here's the sequence:

1.Have the fob at the bike.
2. Turn the ignition on.
3. Pull the maxi-fuse.
4. Disconnect the battery.
5. Turn Ignition off.

Do whatever work you need. Then reconnect the battery and install Maxifuse.

Yeah, DON"T:
1) lean over battery real close to alarm
2) disconnect negative terminal :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Gecko, if you do your 1 and 2 above are they followed by a number 3 that is "install fresh underwear?"
