Crane cams?  :nixweiss:

S/B,

Nope, just a crane cam box with my old valves and valve springs, retainers, keepers and such in it.  Cycle Rama custom grind cams...

S/B,

Back in the days of building Trans Am and IMSA racing motors...I used Crane Cams for a time...actually...we had a development contract with Cam Dynamics for years...then Cam Dynamics was bought by Crane Cams...and so on...

But - no  - not in the bike.... :2vrolijk_21:

Scott,

Your going to have to do some clearancing to get those flanges to work it is VERY tight quarters to work in.  I am sure you will understand what I am saying once you get the heads on and are ready to hook up that intake.

Any idea when you will have everything back to you to begin assembly?

Harry,

I have almost everything now - most all of it arrived Friday.  I started a few things today.  I replaced the cam bearings in the cases this afternoon and installed the cams into the camplate, and I installed the pistons.  Hopefully I will get the remaining parts in the next week or so.  I'd like to get the bulk of the build done around the Christmas/New Years holiday.

I know what you mean about mounting the throttle body.  I eyed it up today.  I concluded it must be possible - but a bit of tool modification may be necessary as well as some trial and error as to the sequence...

PM me with tips at will!!
