King Tour Pak Question for Annie...
« on: December 17, 2007, 08:54:13 PM »

Just purchased a full size tour pack for my "Annie". :2vrolijk_21:

Here my question,

I don't want to install a Radio/CB onto my bike at this time, therefore no need for speaker to be installed.  I was thinking about an Arm Rest for my passenger.  Does anyone know of an after market company that has a product that bolts onto the tour pack where the speakers are located ?   :nixweiss:

I'm planning to just buy a cushion backrest from Corbin to match my heated seat which is on order.

I am looking to find something (ie. Arm Rests) to cover the 3 holes on each side of the tour pack where the speaker usually are located...

Thanks...

This is a New Tour Pack exactly like the one from a Ultra...

The 3 holes are where the speaker are mounted on both sides....

Nope...

"Annie" Tour Pack is the "ultra" Tour Pack Model...

They don't make a King tour Pack for a Road King Custom....

Aside from speaker pods I've never seen anything attached in that location.  Have seen a few interesting non-speaker things stuck inside of speaker pods.  But nothing other than pods for that mounting location though.  Sorry....

Thanks anyway for taking the time to respond to my question....

Someone mention to me that there are aftermarket companies out there that make arm rest that bolt right into those 3 holes on each side of the tour pack....

Been Goggling/Searching the Net....

I've personally never seen any such thing.  A few variants of arm rests that attach under the seat or in other ways from Kuryakyn and others.  But never seen anything that attaches to the tour pak as you're wanting to do.

FWIW, that would worry me too.  If they are arm rests they will get used.  Not only will they get rested upon they'll get leaned on.  They'll get leaned on climbing on and off the bike.  That's a lot of repetitive stress for the relatively thin walls of a tour pak.

I've never seen them either but I'd think it wouldn't be long before you saw cracked paint or worse.
