Chrome Trim Tour Pack
« on: December 18, 2007, 03:59:36 PM »

Has anyone considered installing the Chrome Trim piece that wraps around the tour pack lights in the rear and partially around the sides????  I haven't seen any in the pictures posted so far.

I've seen them on one Canyon Copper/Silver but I personally like the painted wrap around look and will keep it that way when I finally get mine!

Yep, I added it to my Canyon Copper/Silver.  I had to think about it for awhile before putting the chrome over the paint.  The chrome won out...I just love chrome  ;)

I have attached a pic.  As you would expect, I left the center chrome piece off.

Looks great!

I'm a chrome lover as well.  I wonder if it'll look as good on a Duracell with the light trim painted black instead of colored matched like yours?

Has anyone put the same chrome TP light cover on a Duracell?

Griz,

I think it would look good, but I love chrome.

I suggest that you go to a dealer and ask if you can take the piece out to the parking lot and hold it up to your tour pak to get an idea of how it will look.

I agree, there's plenty of chrome on our bikes to add the wrap to the Tour pak.

It looks like it's missing to me when stock.

Actually, the side pieces look nice, but I still like the painted on the back.  Looks good, I may have to change my mind!

Grizzly,
Where did you get the chrome pieces that cover the holes for the luggage rack? HD? Part #?   It looks awesome and I want it :2vrolijk_21:
DISREGARD        I just read the next thread, thanks.
