My wife did a little investigating work last week and found that I was interested in that cool saddle bag stand from Unique Metal Products.

Well low and behold she put my son up to ordering them for Christmas for me.  Apparently he only ordered the rack last Thursday and the package arrived Monday afternoon (Christmas Eve).  Whew, that was close.

Needless to say, I'm thrilled with my Christmas gift from my son and thanks to my wife for suggesting such a great gift... The rack works great!  Very steady and will make washing and polishing a breeze.

Great service from UMP in getting them here on time.

Take care,

The best Christmas present -- - - - - - my family hands down. ...this Christmas turned out really well.
For this year's Christmas we decided to have a simpler, no fuss holiday. We wanted to just hang around the house together.  We bought the DVDs of the old Christmas classics, started the day in the hot tub with coffee and some nice cream, cooked a no fuss turkey dinner with trimmings, but not too many side dishes.  Having a chef for a husband is Great in the culinary department.  Played some Wii sports - I like the golf game - that ninth hole is a doozy.  Talked to friends on the phone and got reacquainted with each other.

Jamey starts his new life in 2008, and we wanted to hang onto this special time as long as we could.  We don't know what the next chapter is going to bring.  Hands down, the best Christmas ever.

Sharing the season with our friends here, priceless.

Spiderman, your Christmas sounds fantastic.  We would get along well.  Went to my brother's Saturday.  I've got a large family with lots of kids.  We really LOVE each other and do a lot of hugging, laughing, dancing.  Lots of food and loud music.  The kids all bring BFs, GFs, and spouses.  It's an hour away.  My older daughter drove home after my brother kicked my ass with his ass kickin Manhattans.  My wife and I sat in the back of the van and made out the whole way home...  Fun....  It felt like a limo.

Got an HD bar and shield neon light, hat, GC.  I don't remember anything else that I got yesterday.....

The Wife knew I was wanting the new adventure package from cyclepump. It includes a real nice light weight small air compressor that plugs into your cig lighter to pump up a tire in the event of a flat or low tire on the road. It also includes a high quality tubless tire plugging kit and high quality air gauge that works with the pump. I wanted it for  road trips and peace of mind. She also ordered me the Kuryakyn camshell tourpack luggage. It fits the 07 SE Ultra rack real well and provides the extra room I need. Other family members got me Motorcycle clothing, I guess they all think that is my life or something? Getting ready for Next Summer's road trips.  Scott

Hey Scott, let us know what you think of the air compressor after playing w/ it awhile.  Is it truly small/compact?  :-\  spyder

Spydglide,
I have not plugged in the compressor yet, but all the motorcycle magazines have tested it as the number one on the market. It is small and light and it sure looks to be well made. I also love the looks of the tire pressure gauge. It works by attaching to the valve stem with a brass clip, a well made braided hose goes to the gauge with a pressure release on the top, you attach your pump or compressor to the gauge to add air and push the button on top of the gauge to release, that way you never release from the valve stem until you are done. you can see the pump and gauge at their site www.cyclepump.com  The only down side is the cost, it is expensive. For Me, I want peace of mind on the road.

thanks Scott.  They do look like a quality product from the advertising write-up.  Let me know if you like it after messing w/ it (filling up a 16" tire).  It's always the balance of how much good gear you're willing to tote.  That's my Infantry trng. getting in the way.  ??? Har!  spyder

Of course my daughter did make it herself (at Build A Bear), so it is much appreciated.

My 11 year old daughter just walked through the room behind me and saw your new teddy bear on the screen and mumbled "Oh my god" as she walked away.  Looks like I won't be getting one of those next year.....

I thought the jacket and sleeve length on the bear looked familiar:
