Purge is no problem at Casa Carey. My dad and mom both have that disease though. Grew up with crap stacked, stored, shelved, buried and approaching fissionable critical mass that seemingly would never be used because it really couldn't be found anyway. During the short few years my dad and I worked in a shop together when I was a kid that was something I pissed him off about regularly. I'd throw chit away if it didn't have a regular or moderately near term use.
To this day if something isn't going to see regular or moderatel foreseeable use or doesn't have a routinized cataloging or storage method it's gone. Can't stap the crap or debris just setting around having to be moved to find or get to other crap or debris.
Same here Don!
I live by a some rules that drives Nancy crazy.
Here are my 5 rules on storing
STUFF .1) If you can't use it, send it back.
2) If you can't send it back then sell it.
3) If you can't send it back, sell it, then give it away.
4) If you can't send it back, sell it, or give it away and just want to keep it, then put it on a shelf for display.
5) If you can't send it back, sell it, give it away or display it
then throw it in the trash. The above applies to everything but tools. A man can never have too many tools!
