If you have the bag guards installed pay close attention to where the bolt is at the forward bottom coupling.
When I added the bag guards I put the bags back on with the clips in the same position.

The bags hit the bolt, and I did not notice it for a week.

  I don't have the guards, but thanks anyway :2vrolijk_21:

I haven't decided on bag guards yet, but Howie made doing this conversion easy. Adjusting the brackets was simple, but I had a friend help, holding the bag in place as I adjusted each bracket. I don't know if you could do it alone. The fairing is as easy as clipping on a windshield.

Maybe I got lucky with the repositioning of the brackets, but I did not have this issue, after putting the Hard Bags and Guards on my SERK3.

Without the guard there is really no particular position to tighten up the the 1/4 turn receiver. With the guards though it is important to check the clearance.
