New V&H Exhaust- with Fuel Pack--Input welcome
« on: January 10, 2008, 11:39:20 PM »

I have purchased but not installed set of V&H slip-ons (figured I would start with the slip-ons an move to true duals later  :-\) along with the Fuel-Pack.  Anybody have any experience with the Fuel pack on their 110  :nervous:CI motor?  Can I really expect the Fuel Pack to replace a dyna tuning like the manufacture says? :nervous:

As long as you are not going to do a lot of mods beyond pipes the V&H fuel pack will work fine. A friend of mine started out with the pak but as his mods were added on(cams headwork etc) he switched over to the Thundermax. Pricey but he's happy with what it does. I am running the Thundermax on mine and quite happy with it.

Yep, With Just Pipes and Air Filter Fuel Pak will work just fine. V&H setting are a ball park Dyno Tune, probably not perfect as each bike is a little different, but close enough for stage 1
