I have a Volvo and love it, however the local shop that keeps me rollin is the local International shop, great guys, but I love my Volvo. I am looking at adding another truck and am looking at International. This truck from what I can tell is based on the new Prostar line, which is the most fuel efficient truck on the market currently. I still love my Volvo though and cancelled an order I had in for a new Volvo because I depend on my local shop to keep me going - and that shop is International....so I am in a quandry...so I will be looking at this truck closely when it hits the market.

It has been discussed on various trucking sites lately....Freightliner came out with their new Cascadia and made that claim sighting wind tunnel tests and such, then International came out swinging as they had already tested various trucks and made their own claim of most fuel efficient...they have since produced detailed independent on track test results that make it pretty clear.

Freightliners numbers were skewed due to testing the tractor only and not a full tractor trailer combo. Volvo has been a fuel efficient leader for a while and the Kenworth t600 was an early leader.
