JC NEW BIKE IS ALMOST FINISHED
« on: January 13, 2008, 10:33:06 PM »

Here's a quick look( well kind of eleven pic's ) at the new bike, it started life as an 05 Standard. The bags were stretched 2.5 inches (Bad Dad Customs), all the tins were smoothed out and painted black denim. Virtually all the chrome was taken off ( sorry Gary ) and Chromex coated which is also called HPC or Jet-Hot, then I used fine scotch Britte pads and scratched everything. As you can tell this bike was obviously inspired by the Exile Choppers minimalist look. 18 inch Billet Boys wheels and PM rotors. Look close there's a lot of little detail. I'll post some more when it's finished...Sid

Oh, I think even Gary is gonna like this one.  That thing looks fabulous!  Man, I don't know how you did it, but everything looks like it has an identical sheen to it.  The spun aluminum gauges are a perfect match for that bike, too.  If you were describing what it was going to look like to me before you built it, I would have never been able to envsion what it would look like and might have had some concerns abou the black denim and Chromex combo, but the finished product looks awesome! :2vrolijk_21:
