2007 tour pak spoiler?????

Does anybody understand why H-D would sell a tour pak spoiler for a 2007 light candy cherry cvo bike, when they have a leather tour pak?  Also has anybody made any headway having a fiberglass or plastic tour pak painted to match the cvo colors?

Yes, It would fit the non-CVO 07 Ultra - and Yes, The tour packs have been painted and installed by other owners that found a person thru this site and I'm sure they will respond.

true it would fit the non cvo '07 but my point is that they did not make a non-cvo '07 in light candy cherry and black ice, so why do they sell the spoiler factory painted if they are not willing to sell the tour pak factory painted...?????????? :soapbox:

Where did you get that information. I just looked at all of the colors on the HD site and don't see that color listed. I didn't see any CVO colors listed at all.

HDCTSS,  I CURRENTLY HAVE A TOUR PACK AT METAL MAFIA CUSTOM PAINTING CO, IN FLORIDA.  IT IS BEING PAINTED LIGHT CANDY CHERRY/BLACK ICE.  I TO WONDERED ABOUT THE LIGHT CANDY CHERRY  SPOILER IN THE BOOK ??

I put the SE "Black ice" spoilers on my bags.  They came painted from HD....

Someone said that the seeg 05 color was a match for the 07 candy color and that maybee why he seen tha color offered.  ride safe JDO

no...in the parts and accessories catalog it specifically states 2007 cvo color...it is not on their website only in the P&A catalog.

Let me know how metal mafia does with your tour pak...I am trying to find somebody to do mine at this time.

Are you sure you are not confusing the saddle bag spoilers with the tour pack spoilers - otherwise I bet its a misprint because up till now the HD Motor CO has yet to do something so nutty...

What's the part number listed?  Rather than wondering if it's an error in the listing or some dipstick who saw a color listed and just had to create a part to match it the easier solution might be to call a parts counter and see if the part number is actually real.

I have recently bought a set of used hard bags and a new king tour pac to put on my serk. I have a couple of options to paint it. I have one local painter guaranty satisfaction. I guess I cant go wrong there. Will post when done. KB

Can't go wrong there only so long as you're not putting a dime until the job is done and you know you get your parts back if there's a problem later.
