I think if you did that, you should change the air intake & cams to!! The bigger T-body would kind of be for nothing if you didn't open up the air intake and valves alittle!! Maybe even the exhaust to!!:nixweiss:  :nixweiss:

But yes, I think you can use the stock heads with a larger T-body!!

Yes then, you should be able to run the stock heads and use a bigger T-body without a problem!!

Alot of guys here know more, so they can give you a second opinion, but I think your good to go!! :2vrolijk_21:

I am doing a build right now and sent the stock throttle body to a machine shop to be bored out with a new throttle plate. This can only be done on the 2 piece pre 06 throttle bodies.

A larger throttle body may give you better peak numbers but without some headwork you're just moving the "bottle neck". Depending on what is done with the TB (size) you may also decrease the port velocity which will have a negative affect on the torque.

HD Dude, you are correct, but i "think" the 103 can benefit from a bored throttle body. I wouldn't recommend a 55mm HP inc one but, one is going on the 103CVO build i am doing now. I had Hillside Cycle port the CVO heads and t/body and throwing in a TW6G cam.

With ported heads I agree, there is more to be had out of these engines.
