Howdy! I just bought a 2008 FLHRSE4 annie two weeks ago. We still have a combination of snow salt and sand on our roads here so it sits in the heated garage and I sit on it. I also own a 2005 FXSTI that has gone through some changes. The biggest change was a FL front end. I've been retired for a year and the better half retired this winter. The Road king was our retirement gift to each other. zero actual miles and hundreds of garage miles. Keep your knees to the breeze.

You'd have a lot more garage miles if it had a stereo. I got mine in January and didn't ride until March last year.  The 1st nice day I put 200 miles on it.  Congratulations and welcome from Western NY.
