I want to, for whatever it's worth, tell you that I appreciate all you've done to rectify this issue.  As far as any slams towards you on how you run this board, they are unwarranted.  This is your "house" and we are invited guests.  I for one, have never had a problem with that and will always appreciate the work you have done on making this site the truly great site that it is.  I normally don't stay interested in a forum very long once I join one, but thisone has kept my interest up to the point where I got emotionally involved when this "universe" became unbalanced.  Being the unpaid owner/moderator of any online forum of this size is not, in my humble opinion, an enviable job.  I think you've done a great job, and the moderators too.  Fortunately this all worked out for everyone concerned and we can move on.  Thank you again Neal for this great place share ideas, laugh, cry, and even get emotional with others that we all have one great thing in common, our love of motorcycles and riding and the commaraderie that it brings.  I for one, am very appreciative of everything you have done.  Keep up the great work Neal.

i have split the CHL stuff off to events. and i'm happy to report that don and i have reached an understanding, i will be lifting his ban.

i'd like to say to all who have posted back and forth that i'm removing the threads in the spirit of everyone moving forward. i have been called things by people i consider friends, i hold no grudge for those posts, member have traded barbs over this as well, i hope that each of you can let it go and move forward, any content re: changes to the site are not being removed with the intent to silence those voices. i have learned quite a bit in the last week about what the member perception is of me and the moderators, this is something i take seriously and fully intend to address.

with that said i welcome back don

Thank you Jorge, thank you everyone.  Neal and I exchanged an email set last night that pretty easily put things to rest.  The efforts of many others got us to that point where a simple exchange could remind each other that no one was really all that mad at the other after all.  So for making that effort also; thank you Neal.
