I have been researching for MC trailers and have found this this model http://motorcycletrailer.com/RRjr1/  Look like a good quality and durable, but wanted a hidden hitch for my SERK.  Thanks for this infor.
Ozzie

In the past a service manager from a local dealer told me that our CVO's lose the warranty if a trailer hitch is installed...........so we aware of this especially your bike is brand new...

While they look nice, the empty weight of those is quite heavy. The 'light' one is 250#. That sure seems awful heavy.   :nixweiss:

I like them heavy, to keep my bike well grounded and hold me on the road during high winds.  Well maybe, but you are right it does seem heavy.  I figured it was because of the steel and fiberglass grade quality thickness.  I continue to search for a trailer and the next one I am looking at is the single wheel.  Not sure how it would follow the bike and bumps in the road.

I've seen tose on the road and they looked pretty cool. There were some reports on them here and the comments were very positive.

I know two people that have the N-Line single wheel trailer.  Both have pulled them on trips of well over a thousand miles one way.  Both say only good or even great things about how they handle.  It's a different look; that's for sure.  And the off-bike handling moving it around the garage or driveway might be more of a chore.  But I've never heard a report that they do anything but handle splendidly going down the road.

I didn't go back to the beginning of the thread to look, so I will assume someone has already recommended the Bushtec trailer.  The Bushtec is a quality piece - the best feature is the "no bounce" suspension...  It tows great - you literally do not know it is there.  I bought mine last spring and put about 4000 trouble free miles on it last season...  And it made my BSR very happy!

Which model did you get Scott?  I picked up a nearly unused used Roadstar mid summer then got it painted and set up the way I wanted it before summer was over.  Used it a bit in the fall.  Pulled it only 2500 or so before riding trips of a distance to make the trailer necessary were done for the year.  For coming to the trailer with never ever having pulled one before I quickly become a convert to using it.  Real handy for road trips.

Ozzie, one of the men I know with an N-Line is a site member here.  M.White is his username.  Mike almost never posts but does log in every once in awhile.  The first weekend he picked his up he took it from Alabama on to North Carolina.  Then from North Carolina pulled it on an iron butt day about 1200 miles home in one day.  You might drop him a PM with any questions you might have.

I bought a Bushtec Quantum.  It came with the lid mounted clothes bag and cooler up front.  I bought a spare tire/wheel assembly with it.  When we head to the cabin up north for our long weekends (about a 750 mile round trip), packing is a breeze.  On our Canadian tour last fall, we became very popular with our friends as they "over bought" their bike capacity...

That a great idea, I will definitely PM M.WHite. I can't believe he pulled a trailer for 1200 miles in one day. That is a great testimony quality and durability about him and N Line.
Thanks again

The Roadstar doesn't have a garment bag for lid mount like the Quantum has available.  It does have an analog to the saddlebag or tour pak lid organizer that can mount the full length of its long lid.  A lot of pockets for small items there that have become very handy.

I also quickly came to really like just not even having to decide (or even think about) if something might be useful on a given trip or not.  Just throw it in the trailer.  Did find the same buddy-stowage phenomenon.  Other peoples jackets, extra helmet and general stuff is easily collected.

Like the cooler a lot too.  But loading it is the only quirk I've experienced.  Found out early on that, at least with mine, if it is fully loaded with ice and beverage it'll get the nose of the bike light.  Presented primarily on downhill breaking.  The nose was seat leather sucking light a couple of times.  Once you got used to it and expected it was easily compensated for.  Loading the cooler only half or so full solved the problem.  But the first time when it was unexpected was an "oh chit" moment.

The cooler is very handy at the cabin - for the store runs.  Milk, fruit, ect. survive much better.  I usually don't travel with any weight in it because of what you mention...

Oz,

As far as I know, it requires a special hitch for the N-Line trailers.  I believe they all require a horizontal receiver type hitch.  N-Line makes a horizontal hitch to be used with their trailers.

You might also want to consider an all aluminum trailer >> they are lighter and durable - http://www.alumaklm.com/sections/products/template_new.php?product_id=10&product_category=2

I was just experimenting first time out.  Expected to feel something.  Just didn't expect that much.  Even then it was only pronounced during downhill deceleration.

After screwing with it over most of a weekend found that half full or less was no issue at all.  Once that comfort zone was acertained got quite content with having water or soda or crackers or whatever cold and fresh and at hand without even having to walk inside when stopping for fuel or when stopping at rest areas.
