Those are from RIVCO, Elvis.

They seem to be a fairly reliable company from up this way.
A couple of friends have them and swear by them.... not at them.

I sure wish they had better photos of this product available.  I'd like to see how it attaches/works.  Anyone already have them on and could take pictures, I'd appreciate it.  thanks, spyder [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]

I go past there quite often and the stop is only momentary.
Since we had the post on centerstands they have added a reduced height centerstand specifically for the SEEGs.

Does anyone really leave their lowers on?  My SEEG's came off the day I brought her home.

I bought a set of these:
"Protective Soft Lowers" H-D part 58502-80B
Fits '80-later FLT, FLTR, FLHT, FLHR
MSRP US $37.00

And I use them for both bikes.  Pop them in a saddlebag for a trip and put them on when/if needed.  They're not pretty, but VERY functional!  Who wants lowers on when it's 90 degrees.  And no, the vents (of any make) don't do much IMHO.  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

DJ, I'm still in the "data collection" phase on my lowers.

Like Twolanerider's ride report on his thoughts of lowers;

I ride an 04 (did not come with the vents) and am from California.  Our summers often get up to 110-112 degrees.  But every since eGlide Goodies came out with the leg fairing vents, I've never had to take my lowers off (back when I rode an Ultra Classic).

They work so well, that I spent the money again and put them in my SEEG!

Aside from the protection and versatility (cool mornings vs. warm afternoons) of the protection that they provide, I think the leg fairings add to the look and the class of the bike so I like to leave them on.  JMHO

I really like the vented lowers on the '05 SEEG.
It's just really nice to be able to ride in the afternoon with the vents open, stop somewhere for supper then close the vents in the cooler evening air. No more chilly rides home in the evening.
I have had my '05 since August 24th 2004, so I was able to experience some pretty warm days in September, and I didn't have an issue with the vents. My wife however said that when at highway speeds she stayed cooler on back if I closed the vents. I guess with the vents open it pushes all of the heat away from me and onto her legs. At highway speeds though it didn't bother me to close the vents as plenty of air was moving around anyway.
For me the biggest difference in airflow occurs with the removal of the fairing wings and triple clamp air baffle. I leave these on all winter and remove them once temps are in the high 70's or hotter most of the time. Its really amazing how much more breeze you get with the wings and baffles off.

Tinted Fairing wings. You can just make the left one out. It looks like a blurred area across the gas tank where it says, "Harley Davidson". These come standard on ultras. I have black ones on now instead of the tinted, (doesn't show scratches as bad).

Lower triple clamp air baffle. (It's the chrome piece reflecting the light just above the center of the crash bars), ( view from left saddlebag looking forward with gastank removed).

Thanks a bunch for posting the pics.  I had both on my ultra classic.  I heard that they quit putting the air dam on them because it caused the front cylinder to run hotter.  Do you know anything about that or have you heard the same?

Do you run those two only in colder weather?
