Long time lurker, first time poster

I started reading this site on a customer recommendation and have been checking it daily for about 6 months or so.  I work for a dealership (5 + years in) and am hoping that I can provide some unbiased info and opinions on issues or concerns.  I am well versed in warranty, service and performance and more than willing to throw in my 2 cents on just about any topic.  Feel free to fire questions at me any time.

I feel these are some of the best forums going, keep up the good work.

Welcome aboard CTL! Thanks for joining us! You have found the definitive site for everything CVO! Now that you said fire away, I figure I'd throw this out there. Can you please clearly state HD's position and action plan on what's going on with the numerous 110" engine problems? And why is everyone getting a run around about it? After 1-1/2 years of production, you'd think we'd actually hear something "official" about it. Why are we still hearing that there is no glaring issues with these engines?

Not trying to put you on the spot. Just trying to understand why we're having so much grief with these bikes, and very little support from MoCo on the issue. Continuing to bring the bikes in for repairs, with no effective fix being provided, and dealers "just trying out what MoCo suggests" is not an acceptable solution. Do you have any light you can shed on this issue. TIA.

Hey muff, it doesn't appear that way from his post. He asked us not to hold back. He seems to care and wants to help us. We've been waiting for a year and a half for an honest answer, which to date, have not received from the MoCo. I don't think he'll have any problem explaining his point of view. After all, he's been lurking for 6 months. I'm sure he's quite aware of my position on this. Especially since I've just spent 7 grand to build my own engine, since the one on my bike never worked without breaking/leaking. Since I'm doing my own, I've nothing to lose now, do I? I'm very interested in finally getting an honest response on this issue from someone at HD. Anyone! ;)

And I guess it won't be the first time I've scared someone! Just ask my HR Director!!! :o ;D

We can only hope for your sake and ours that the MOCO has let him in on the fix.
I'm sure he will give you an honest answer but that answer may not be from the MOCO.
