Hey Jim, does this mean instead of getting Chinese RevTech engines and transmissions, that we'll get Korean ones now? ::) :o ;)

Holy crap! "$40.9 million and liabilities of $189.7 million as of Nov. 24." With, up til recently, a booming bike market. Sounds like a complete mismangement of a business. Kinda like the Fed Gov't! :D

It's been about fifteen years since I've ordered anything from Custom Chrome (CCI).  And if the quality of their stuff hasn't improved any.........then I'm not surprised.

It may have been just me but I never could look up anything on their website.  Mark at M&M Cycles told me a couple years ago that it was a lot easier for him to purchase from Drag as CC could never fill a complete order.  Still sad to see anyone go under.

I only purchased CCI products a few times and was happy with the product. Just like you said, sad to see anyone go under. I suspect it won't be the last this year to fold. ;D

It is very sad when a company folds.  I am sure there are a multitude of reasons.  But for every independent shop/business that folds, our beloved MoCo will pick up the parts to sell us, for more money.  Not that they don't deserve it, it will just be the name of the game.  A few more folks looking for a job.  I hope I can hang onto mine for another five years.

My only experience with CCI is with their Wild Ones Chubby handlebars. They look like very well made pieces. I don't see any problems with them at all.  :)

I don't know. My bars have both CCI and Custom Chrome stickers on them.  :nixweiss:

Maybe the sticker is just because CC was the reseller?  :nixweiss:

I thought they were a CC brand, but they are not listed as one on CC's website. I hope I am wrong because I know lots of people like those bars.
