Lots of deer here in Oklahoma, especially out east of the metro area where I live.  I try not to ride too much after dark (usually can't see them until they are about to cross in front of you).  There are a few roads around the house that I try to avoid at night because of deer.

A guy I know hit a deer about 5 years ago.  He was on HWY 9 out east of Norman, Okla. (lots of deer out there).  He hit the deer at about 70 mph on his Fatboy (it was about a 150 lbs doe).  He never went down - the bike tore the deer in half and messed up the front of the bike pretty bad, but he was able to keep the bike up and pull off the road.......unbelievable!
