110 upgrades
« on: February 02, 2008, 08:13:23 PM »

Just got my springer back from the dealership today.
Sent it in for rear cylinder leakage. had 10500 miles.
Had heads ported   se 211 cams  10.5-1 forged pistons  thundermax closed loop tuner  stock pipes with  big city thunder baffles.
dealer couldn't do a final tune due to the fact they had no experience with this module.
pulled 107 h.p. 112 t.q.
sounds awesome... can't wait for warmer weather.

sounds like they have an honest dyno!  110x 1.1=121, 110x 1 = 110.  once you get final tune, look for 115 tq or there abouts.

Is your springer the 07 or 08?  I'm waiting on delivery of my 08 and keep wondering how soon it's going to go in for an oil leak.

Rumor has it that whatever 'fix" is coming will first be applied to the 110's coming off the line. If you have to wait a few weeks it may be worth it.

AJ,
That makes sense...get them fixed first right out of the gate, then retro-fit the owner's bikes.  That's the way I'd do it.  As long as the MoCo comes through for us, I'll be happy.   ;)
