Not much protocol there, the guy that backed him up only had a 357 mag and if you ask me they were damned lucky not to have it be a lot worse.

That bear mighta put that 357 where the sun don't shine on those boys.

Isn't that the reason why you should always carry a gun with the sites filed off!

Official Democratic Party campaign car designed exactly the way Obama and Clinton intend to "CHANGE"  the direction things are going in this country.  Gives me a headache.....

I've said it before and say it again - step up, and do what is right, make it your mission to participate at least one time this year

The good thing about the PGR missions now is that many of them are "welcome home"  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for sharing Duane.  You're right.  This is a good forum to recruit future Patriot Guards from.  I'm interested and will check out their web site to find out about joining the local chapter.

Been a member for a couple of years and I have to admit every mission I've participated in has made my eyes leak. I originally joined to get a chance to smack one of those Oklahoma church protesting nuts right upside the head but the experience evolved far past that. (although I would still dearly love to hit one of those bitches, they are no longer willing to show up around here)
Great video, thanks for posting the link.

It's Kansas...We don't want them or claim them here in Oklahoma.

I have been on a few PGR missions also.  I consider it an honor to participate.
I too would throughly enjoy giving them a good "beat down", but the PGR leadership explains that we are to only escort and "shield" the funeral party from the protestors.  Those nut-cases from Kansas would love for use to attack them....Seriously, they are looking for a chance to file a law suit.

The thing about leaky eyes is pretty much a moot point.

Every one of the "somber" events I have participated in, the leaks were the norm, not the exception.

The thing that will really get to you is when mom or dad come up to YOU and thank YOU for doing what we do ...........................

70-80 of us at one PGR ride were invited back to the house by a very insistent mom & dad, how can you say no?

My most memorable was an 80 something mother who asked to be driven over to our staging area, got out of her car (with help) walked over to the line with her walker and thanked each one of us.

Tears are welling just remembering this very special moment, in which we were there honoring her son, KIA in Iraq.
I don't remember the specifics and I realize the age seems odd, but he was a Col Major and on like his 5th tour.

I was just looking for a picture of the event, and all I had is general ride shots. I'm sure most of those snapping pictures were just a bit emotional and failed to snap............

There are many Vets I know (myself included) that would love to "indoctrinate" those "nut-cases" Thanks to all who help our military & vets in ANY way! Sorry about the  :jack:

These are the two latest Screamin' Bald Eagles in New Jersey.

This pair of males hatched in January, the earliest known hatching since they have been recording such things.
These guys are only a few miles from the house and are one of 6 nesting pairs within 20 minutes of where we live.
The picture was taken by Fish & Game during a health eval and banding.

Their nest can easily be seen from one of the local roads.

For those of you who have these as a common site you probably can't appreciate what this means to us.
At one point during the height of the DDT epidemic there was only 1 Bald Eagle in New Jersey!

As of January a survey counted 231 bald eagles, a record, up from 219 last year.

Southern NJ, had 187 eagles, northern NJ had 39 and the Delaware River Water Gap had 5.

A new pair of eagles was seen in the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area in western Monmouth County last year.
