The Columbia is a 250' x 72' barge with a 400 ton Manitowoc crane.

The 70' Susan II clam boat out of Gloucester went fishing last week. Only problem was is that they decided to go bar hopping first.

Cost of booze to make a crew of 3 impaired                           $50
Cost of the Environmental cleanup, prevention & containment     $100,000
Cost of salvage for the boat you ran into the jetty                   $200,000

Value of running your boat into a jetty that is unforgiving, getting arrested for driving while impaired, all the crew getting fired, losing a clamming license because the boat is a total constructive loss

A friend collects these signs.  The few times I've been there the attempts like these are always worth a chuckle.  But this one was my favorite of the bunch.  Gravid?  What a choice to pick from the dictionary.  Any pregnant woman I've ever known would have got immediately pissed off if someone had said to her, "my, aren't we gravid now."
