Better yet, post your rout and maybe some other members will be able to join you for a beer or a short ride.
Route??? I just make it up as I go...look at a map and say, I need to get here, so which non Interstate roads will get me there. Although, riding the Interstate up in Montana and Wyoming is pretty isolated at times and the only way in places.
I guess I should get on here more often and post my route for the next day. My Bad...
Tomorrow morning the Billings HD is replacing my front rotors for the 2nd time, got the famous front brake shakes again, seems like the rotors go every 10K. Then I'll be taking Montana HWY 3 out of Billings connecting with US12 to White Sulphur Springs and then up US89 thru the Lewis and Clark National Forest to Great Falls. Depending on the weather and how fast I go I'll probably just keep on US89 and stop sometime before dusk.
Hey Hoist, my E3 front tire still has 50% of the tread but is starting to cup after 12,700 miles. My rear tire is about 2/3 worn, still has about 1/8 in of center tread, with 12,700 miles. Guess all that two lane road riding with lots of 60~80 mph running and little breaking allows you to get more miles out of your tire. I'll probably change both at 25K on the odometer. That's only 3200 mile away.
Here is a picture from the Teton National Park.
