We have a little catching up to do and this looks like a great place to dump a load of pictures. I’m a little late getting these up. I intended to do this after returning last March, but this is a much better time of year to be thinking about the smell of two stroke smoke, paddle tracks and bottomless powder snow. Actually I’m all juiced up about loading the sled and heading out again in a couple of weeks.

With the common denominator being the handlebars, I’m trying to think of a way to wrap the whole Motorcycle thing around this. I’ll keep working on that; in the meantime check out some of last winter’s shenanigans.

Mar08_006 – 011: Picking our way through the trees. On the flats it’s not difficult to pick a line. On a slope you must keep your speed up, have a sharp eye and be able to change direction quickly. You also must be able to bench-press a 500 pound sled with several hundred extra pounds of snow packed into the skid frame.
