Man, 4 cars on that team it's going to be a long season.  Tony was in there too so the Gibbs Toyo's will get it figured out.

Should be an interesting season to say the least.

Yeah, looks like Toyota was busy in the off-season.  I knew they must've had something up their sleeves in order to entice JGR to switch from Chevrolet.  Wonder what they did to that motor to (finally) wake it up? :nixweiss:

Honestly, I think it was there all the time, they just didn't want to come spank anyone the first year out.

They are definitely there now though.

The cars seem better, that's for sure.  Have to wonder how much of the improvement is the experienced team setting them up too.  Waltrip and Jarret both did better tonight then they did last year.  But the Gibbs team came out with their usual and expected performance with the car seeming to not really make a lot of difference to how good they were.

Mikey ran well, but either he or his team screwed up virtually every pit stop - missed his pit once - went wrong way on track bar at one point - they have made progress with the car, but have a lot of work to do before they are a top team... :-\

It was amazing to watch several drivers get out of shape but were able to recover without crashing.  ;D
