It's fixing to be farewell to an old freind......

I got confirmation from the dealership yesterday that my 2008 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUSE-3 White Frost/Silver Mist will ship from York, PA on February 14th. I really hate taking my current ride up to the dealership to be sold but I've been waiting since I ordered the FLHTCUSE-3 this past July during the dealer show in Nashville, TN. I will probably start removing the stuff from the old ride that will be transferred to the new ride this afternoon.

Know the feeling. Bitter sweet for sure. But there's really nothing like new stuff. You'll enjoy the hell outta the new one.

Goodluck with the new bike. I know what you mean when taking parts off the old bike  But when you get the new one you be  plus there is always some new parts to add.

Best to ya.  I went through that when I got my 06.  I still miss my old Ultra, which is why I can't do it anymore.

When you got through this you can't look back.

The scarey part is looking at the current ride and rmembering all of the stuff you have added.  In my case it is adding the SEEG, but it still feels like I'm jilting the SEUC.

I think the SEUC laughs at me when it knows I haven't remembered half of the stuff I did to get it set up like I want.

Good luck with the new bike, I think that's a great color.

The Screamin' Eagle Ultra was born on 02-26-2008 in York, PA. It arrived in Murfreesboro, TN on 03-07-2008 under the cover of darkness. I've been by there two times already to check it out and drool. Hopefully I can switch bikes out sometime towards the end of the week if all goes well......

Very nice indeed.  That is my favorite colour for '08.  Are you trading in the '06 or are they selling it for you on consignment??
