Unless I am mistaken, Reply #17 is a picture of Stan Fox of Janesville, Wisconsin...  Stan was the brother of Fred Fox - Fred is the owner of Parts Unlimited - Drag Specialties and a bunch of other stuff.

Stan was a good friend of mine.  He never quite recovered from the head injury sustained in this crash.  Car 14 in AJ Foyt's car is Eddie Cheever.  If you remember seeing this accident from the front view, Stan's legs were protruding unprotected from the front of the car.  But his worst injury was not his legs, it was the head injury.  Stan later died in a car accident in New Zealand while there promoting Sprint Car/ Midget Car races...
