Andy (AK) invited JC and myself to San Diego this weekend to visit his daughter and son-in-law and to go watch the Total Combat fights in downtown.  I had a great time and really enjoyed the fights, but JC and I had a disagreement and we settled it in Brandon and Kerry's gym...

Seriously though, it was fantastic to see the fights from the first row ringside thanks to Brandon and Kerry!  Here's a shot of a T-shirt showing Brandon and Kerry's logo for their Alliance Gym (it is definitaly a kick-ass logo).  The fighter in the ring is Gary Padilla, a fighter who trains in their gym.  Alliance had 2 fighters fighting last night, and they both won by submission.  By the way, did I mention that the seats were really good?

Ernie it looks like you had the advantage over JC without the gloves. One good bare knuckle hook and it looks like you knocked the gloves right off him before he hit the mat.  ;D

Terrie and I had a great time.......thank you for the invite Andy and the cage side seats, too.   Terrie said "I hope that was sweat I just felt spray my face and not blood".  Then she goes on to ask me "why did Gary keep picking his opponent up and bringing him back over to where we were sitting and slamming him down?".   LOL I had to explain to her that we were sitting in his corner. :huepfenlol2:

Good to see all of you guys, of course and glad you made it too, Sid.  Looked like your daughter was really enjoying it, too.  I'm warning you, the MMA sport is almost as addicting as these bikes. :2vrolijk_21:

Lookin forward to our ride back down Andy......really lookin forward to it.

Terrie and I stopped on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on the way home.....drove by the Playboy Mansion, too.....and of course the freak show at Venice Beach.  We had a really good time.
