And if you Hawg wired it it would have been 9 lbs!

It's not really the amount of wires, but just where one of the harnesses gets real close to the fairing. I fought with that almost all day and finally got it to where I was satisfied with the fit. With only about 1" between the corners of the radio and the fairing, those big harnesses eat up that space really quickly.

I'll look at AJ's bike when he comes over for his bars to see if the Harley BT module replaces my problematic 'Y' cable with something easier to work with.

Wanted to put up a few pics of the bike with the fairing. Getting it right killed most of Saturday, but that's the way it goes.

This one's for sadunbar who caught a detail I had missed. I don't think it was planned, because we never spoke about it and the graphics artist never even saw the bike in person, but he got the angle of the bag guard perfectly matched in the design.  :)

Thanks. Well, I'm off to a birthday party for a 2 y.o. No basement time for awhile, maybe after the race starts.

Chuck, the more it comes together the better it looks.  Inside my fairing is also slightly lacking of unencumbered atmosphere.  Have got several tight photos of how things rest in there when it all fits so that when the day comes that it must come apart for service will have a template to go by.

Your bike simply looks amazing.  Absolutely stunning.  It does evoke CVO-ness with everything look but is obviously uber-CVO in every way.  You simply did an amazing job with the conceptual work and the details.  Very very much to be proud of.

The fairing, well it was just plain fun. It's done, at least until I need to go in to adjust the neck.

Thanks for all the kind words. :)

Not yet, but hopefully this week. I think I'll get pretty close to finishing it up tonight, if not totally. :2vrolijk_21:
