I think that engine is an old agusta, which I believe is/was related to Ducati in some way. I just saw the new Dacati Desmosedici RR at an old racing buddies HD shop in Modesto Ca. ( He has 2 Harley dealerships and 2 other cycle dealerships) Nice bike for a mere $70 grand! They had done some mods to it and lowered the weight to 350 ish and over 200hp. Exhaust comes up through rear fender. He had to send 2 of his mechanics to Italy to be certified to service it. Tough job!

My thoughts too, plus the torque would want to push the seat down too.
