Ya know Rog, there is not a day that goes by that I don't make a conscience effort to give thought to the men and women who are providing the "comfort zone" that allows some to forget why they are free. As I have posted here previously my wife and I volunteer with Soldiers Angels and AnySoldier.com and encourage anyone interested to take a look. That being said I would also consider being a part of something here where maybe we "adopt" a member or twos family member and their "crew" that are serving for us. Given our collective resources we could really make a difference. It doesn't require much.

Maybe we should start a thread and ask if there is any interest?  If there are enough members interested it wouldn't require much time individually? What are your thoughts? PM me.

Chief of Operations for the Multi-National Forces in Iraq, Colonel Bruce Parker.  This Podcast details the weeks activity in Iraq and gives an unfiltered look into the week in raq without media spin.

His call fom Iraq is on this podcast at the 29 minute point and runs about 13 mintues.
