« on: April 18, 2005, 08:49:25 PM »

it appears we have lost a member on this forum.
not just a member, but a major contributer to this site.
someone who you could have an intelligent conversation or argument with.
someone who has posted numerous signfigant threads, which contained excellent information about the cvo bikes.
someone who went out of his way to make this an informative site.
i am not really sure how it happend, but i do know that even though the site will go as usual. it will not be the same without mike.
it would be nice, if we could somehow persuade him to rejoin.
i for one have benifited from some of the information that he was kind enough to look up and post. and i am sure that i am not the only one.
one of the main reasons i joined this forum, was to learn as much about the cvo 103 engine as i could.
while some of the topics are interesting and fun to read, very few of them are actually informative. out of the ones that are informative, mike posted most of them.
i don't know about anyone else, but i will certainly miss MFG.

I know. Got a note from him also. Gave him chit for leaving the site. He's added many strong Harley D topics that help all us out. Wish some of us didn't ride him so bad. Hope he still keeps in touch.

I also will miss MFG's posts.........he was a hard worker on this site.  I appreciated his efforts on our behalf and wish that he would rethink his departure.  We'd welcome him back, I'm sure! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I wish him the best of luck with his "total" rehabilitation process.
He sent me an e-mail detailing all his problems.
His issues are tough, and I hope he sorts them out.

His parting comes as a surprise thought some of his stuff was ok but a lot of cut and paste of stuff I already read.  Hate to lose anybody that has something to say worth whike or not,  he may have had the answer I was looking for?

MFG was an asset to this site. His contributions, including the cut & paste items, and willingness to assist others benefited many here. I do hope that he will return to this site in the near future.

Mike,

I too would like to add my thanks to all the post, info. and comments you have made.
I have not been on this site that long and what you had to say was your opinion and your opinion alone.
That is who you are. Willing to share your opinion, info, and adding value to the site.
The members and the guest of this site can take it for what it's worth or take it for a grain of salt.
That is why I come to this site to read and at times give my opinion like yourself and others.
I must say I did enjoy reading what you had to say.
I hope all will be well with you.
Take care and Thanks
Larry

Mike, say it aint so!

Man I can't believe it. I have truely gained alot of imformation from Mike and hope he reconsiders his decision. I always would read his threads and enjoyed him. Mike was fulltime flhrsei! I hope I never offended you Mike because I really appreciated what you brought to this site. May God Bless you and give you strength in rehab!
