bike trailer jig for fd
« on: February 26, 2008, 03:25:41 PM »

Borrowed this bike trailer jig from a shriner friend. Made for fd’s, bolts to floor, barstock with allthread goes through dogbone and threaded lugs tightened on topside,  Roundbar slides through and secure with pin. Very secure trailer method.  I’m making a few up before I need them. Any insight, improvements, or designs on this method is appreciated.

thanks

There is a company that makes these.  I saw it demo'd at Muyrtle beach.  They had the bike hanging on it horizontally.  Seems like a good idea, but you need a second person to put the pin in, correct?  Do you loos ground clearance especially when loading on the trailer?

This is the link to the company.

You are suppose to remove mounting hardware from bike before riding.

In a trailer the best way to go is with a Condor Pit Stop.
Drive scoot in, bike stands up while you strap it down.

Check it out below
